Another day in Utah

//posted by admin under Uncategorized | March 15th, 2008

Nepalese people why they have adventure, because there are no any facilities like schools, hospitals, electricity, ether me, I have World Record but I don’t have an education. Without education there is no any choice. Right now  all my family is in Utah United States for my kids education they are doing very well I am so happy about that. But still there are so many homeleses kids without education in Nepal. How can we help them? Does someone have any idea? Please give us a idea and let us know what can be done to help them.A lot of  people don’t know where Nepal and Mount Everest is, what kind of culture we follow, what kind of food we eat, how long they walk a day. Their way of living is utterly different from the people in the  United states and Europe. Nepal is not that far, and is located within the earth. It is the place where people should and must visit anyhow. .I am sure that traveling one time to Nepal is not that enough. So, just come, visit and gain something!!!!!!!!!Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa

    I am at awe at this newly found webpage. I have followed many of yout news articles an different treks to the top of everest vicariously through literature. I am happy to report that at lunch today the Sherpa name came up and a long discussion of amazement took place. Here is the amazing result. I am a teacher at Alta High School in Sandy Utah where your students attend. It is reported that in truth they are doing very well. Their teachers love them.

    I have seniors looking for a noteworthy service learning project that would impact not only the students in my class but those they can come incontact with. If you would like to get something going via postal mail to begin with, we could get the student body of Alta to join in and raise some money that would go towards the larger task of provideing greater services.

    You can reach me via email or simply call the school to follw up. A short meeting and planning session would be in order on an individual basis and then maybe a meeting with the students involved.
